1. Schemes of Central and State Govt.

It has been announced on behalf of the central government that 1 crore farmers will engage in organic farming in the next 2 years by allocating 1.52 lakh crores for agriculture and allied sectors in 2024. Over the next two years, 10 million farmers will be introduced to organic farming practices with a focus on sustainable practices, digital infrastructure and increased productivity.

The Tamil Nadu government has informed the Legislative Assembly on February 20, 2024 (Tuesday) in the Agriculture Budget 2024-25 that the state government has allocated a total of ₹42,281 crore for agriculture and allied sectors in the financial year 2024-25.

2. Related Trust Schemes :

Traditional seeds are recovered and vigorous seeds are developed. An examination station will be set up and advice will be provided. Rural growth, development and importance will be ensured. A Public Enterprise (RND) will be set up and new technologies will be introduced. Crop loans will be provided to farmers. Training courses related to agriculture will be provided to each district. Eco friendly products will be produced. Free transport facilities will be provided for marketing of agricultural produce. Warehouses will be created district wise. Produce produced on behalf of the trust will be provided (to farmers & public) at affordable prices.

 3. Mobilization of CSR funds from PSUs :

After listening to our project reports from sector experts and companies and realizing the resulting benefits and environmental changes, water management, new modern methods of agriculture, new discoveries, regeneration of natural energy, and so on, collecting funds from companies as CSR funds and implementing them.

 4. Utilization of CSR Funds for Agricultural Development :

The foundation will work with the objective of giving importance to natural resources, human resources and the environment, such as India’s agricultural production based investment in traditional crop planting (harvesting) and non-nutritious food, where food is medicine and medicine is food.

5. Direct purchase of product from farmers:

Since the trust directly buys the products produced by the farmers, by providing the amount directly to the farmers without any intermediaries, the price will be reduced without any compensation, and the farmers will also get more benefits.

6. Product quality improvement and marketing:

The products procured from the farmers will be tested (Lab Test) and the quality will be determined by getting the laboratory certificate and those products will be marketed in association with (FPCL).

7. Direct distribution to farmer families:

A bank account will be opened for the farming families and their produce will be credited to their bank account at the appropriate price. Apart from that, central and state government agricultural schemes and insurance will be registered in the scheme.

8. Upliftment of family welfare and livelihood of poor farmers:

We want to make it known that the problems faced by the farmers in production and the cost of transporting them from one place to another will improve their livelihoods and quality of life as the foundation does not incur costs for fertilizer and fodder recycling.

9. Agriculture, the backbone of the country, will be protected and further developed:

Science-based permanent solutions will be provided to the agriculture-related projects of the Central and State Governments, Research Centers (RND) will be set up district-wise to improve the country’s backbone agriculture. Note : New instruments will be introduced by RND through Foundation.

10. Food shortages and food shortages will be protected :

For the crops to grow well, identifying and using vigorous seeds in suitable places, growing crops suitable for seasonal conditions, increasing the yield through soil fertility, natural fertilizer, traditional method and scientific technology, and ensuring the growth of grain production at any stage without shortage in the grain storage warehouse.
